OUR STORY

We Love Our Work!

Our story begins in 1996 with the dream to own a coffee shop and bakery at the New Jersey Shore. Growing tired of our previous jobs in construction and the pharmaceutical industry, our family, Mike, Pam, and Mike Jr., left our home in West Philadelphia and moved to Wildwood, New Jersey. We started the very first Mrs. Brizzle’s on the boardwalk, only selling coffee and our now famous cinnamon buns.

The original Mrs. Brizzle’s operated for eight years with such success that we expanded to nearby Sea Isle City at 42nd & the Promenade in 2004. Quickly outgrowing both of those locations, we left Wildwood and moved our Sea Isle City location to 44th & Landis Ave., which we operated for 10 years. Today, we operate at 46th & Landis Ave., now offering selections from our grill as well as our original baked goods and coffee options.

However, over the past 24 years, we have not forgotten our roots. No matter how many cinnamon buns or hoagies we may pass on to our happy customers, we are humbled by the overwhelming support from our community. Our Brizzle’s mission is to make lifelong friendships and to put a smile on the face of everyone that passes through our doors!

We look forward to many more summers at Mrs. Brizzle’s filled with sunshine, happiness, and delicious cinnamon buns. Come pay us a visit; we would love to meet you!
